This system is designed for medium to high throughput rates and used world wide for pelletizing virgin polymers. Dry cut strand pelletizing systems can be classified by their degree of automation from conventional water bath system to sophisticated automatic production lines, or in terms of flexibility from highly flexible general purpose lines to dedicated single purpose plants. The throughput range depends on the type and size of the equipment, on some polymer characteristics and certainly also on the pellet size

Underwater Pelletizing
The main components of the system - the cutter head with cutting chamber, die plate, and start-up valve - are all assembled in a common supporting frame - were on display. Other system components, such as process water circuit with by-pass, cutting chamber discharge, sight glass, centrifugal dryer, belt filter, pump, heat exchanger and transport system will be selected from a comprehensive range of accessories and combined to a system job-oriented. The electrical equipment combines the control of all individual system components within one process, optimized for the application.
